Originally from Bulgaria, Desi began her hospitality career with a degree in Hospitality Management before moving to the United States. With a natural passion for service, wine, and fine dining, she quickly rose through the ranks of the luxury hospitality industry, holding leadership roles at some of the country’s top restaurants and hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton.

Over the years, Desi specialized not only in operations and guest experience but also in wine program development. As a wine buyer for several high-end establishments, she curated award-winning wine lists and built strong relationships with top distributors and producers. She also holds a Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, underscoring her commitment to professional excellence and deepening her knowledge in the world of wine and spirits.

In 2021, Desi and her husband, Patrick, became the proud owners of a well-established wine and liquor store with a 50-year history in the community. Together, they have brought fresh energy to the business, combining her hospitality expertise and wine knowledge to offer a curated, welcoming retail experience. Today, she continues to share her passion through personalized recommendations, wine education, and a dedication to exceptional service.
